3000- 4000?
Rent, utilities and groceries, then there’s always extra home expenses, clothes/ dry cleaning/ cleaning help/ extras a pop up sale/ a weekly women’s shiur/ bshaa Tovah baby gear etc later on

Really depends on the couple
how often go out you go out to eat, low key or want to host shabbos and yontif meals, activities, vacations

I think these numbers are high. We’re a family with a few children and chugim with two full time working parents in tech in a higher COL city, yet we spend $3000-$4000 a month plus rent. Rent is paid with water and electric and taxes so it’s considered one lump sum and these add under $300 to our bill monthly.

So people are saying ballpark 2k + rent. I don’t think that’s so crazy. Personally my food budget and transportation etc didn’t change much now that I have 3 kids. My budget is actually pretty much the same (exchange rate night for diapers lol).

I don’t live in israel but was supported there for a year. My siblings were for multiple years. Unless the wife is working these numbers make sense to me.

Also- flights home for yt if that’s the plan.
