I think Crave sells the real good quality stuff

Not everywhere. But a lot of the regular bakeries are making 'sourdough' along with their regular challah, with yeast.

The Majority are fake sourdough. They can use vinegar, oil, yeast, sugar etc. Not easy to know unless you can trust them to be honest with you and tell you the truth.

Mg first ever sourdough was from bingo. We enjoyed it and felt that it was ultimately super fresh rye type bread with a slight twist on the taste.
My friend who bakes and sells authentic sourdough as a business laughed and said that bingo’s sourdough is just bread with sourdough flavor. I tasted hers and was like ohhhh so this is sourdough. Tasted different and my sensitive stomach felt a huge difference as far as digestion goes.
Since my friend is not local to me , she suggested I purchase my authentic sourdough from cookie corner and I haven’t looked back.

Alrighty….I’ll try cookie corner tomorrow iyh. It happens to be pretty far from me. Does anyone know if Brooklyn bagel (56/18 ave) is real?

My friend also said there is also someone else who has an authentic sourdough business called Bredz. This was the number I got for her, I never reached out so I personally can’t vouch but could be this is great and convenient for you - (347) 786-2390

I forgot the name, there is one sold at Breadberry and Landaus that is authentic and delicious!
