Hey looking for a quiet beach for me, dh and dc. Dh doesn’t really want to go but I want him to bc I don’t drive in Israel yet so looking for a quiet more family friendly beach. Gonna go in middle of week so it’s not so crowded. Any suggestions?

No such thing as not crowded mid-week at this time of year.

For a family friendly mixed beach, I know Palmachim is popular, but be prepared for crowds and bikinis.

If you go to a separate beach, Bat Yam.isnt too far from Jerusalem, and your husband could drive you and then go for a walk for an hour or two before meeting you.

Normally there are hasaot to the separate beaches during Bein haZmanim. I do t know what will be this year, but if there isn't a war, expect to see adverts right after Tisha b'Av.

I don't know about other beaches but the beach in Netanya just after the separate beach (does take some walking) and at the part called blue bay it's only Jewish frum families.
It's not something you can guarantee on as it's public place but it's not as nice as the other areas and doesn't have the shades, chairs and ice cream stands so usually not popular for people who go for the full beach experience.

From June until September every day is full at the beach.
If you have the option to stay in a beach town overnight and get to the main part of a beach by 7am it's really nice and quiet for approx 2 hrs. Did it in Ashdod last year and it was the best beach experience I've had. You don't have the mid day heat and it's very peaceful without crowds.

Just adding that Chof Palmachim is a national park, so you have to pay for entry. I don't think it costs much, but if you google, you can get the details.

As a rule, the earlier in the day you can there, the quieter it is likely to be.

Chime in with Elfrida. It's peak season especially after tisha be Av.
Go extremely early in the morning in hope it will be less noisy.
For separate beaches it's Ashdod and maybe Ashkelon.

My favourite separate beach is Netanya, and there's a nice park above it for either before or after. It's not so close to Jerusalem, though. Tel Aviv, Rishon, and Bat Yam are all closer. I've never tried the mixed beaches.

Generally speaking, separate beaches have women on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and men on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You can check the details on this site.

If you want a beach where there won't be (many) people in bathing suits you can go to a beach that is without a lifeguard or amenities. In Ashdod next to the separate beach is an option. Of course, never go in the water without a lifeguard!
