For those whose husbands went - is it true that 5000 people were there, not 18,000?

My dh said it was an embarrassment how empty it was. They must have lost lots of money.

It's a pity. 5000 (if that's what they had) is a very impressive number of people. But if you put them in a place that seats tens of thousands, it looks ridiculous. Odd that they thought they would attract 4 times the number of people.

His msg was (someone can add on if you want):
1. One million dati/hareidi Jews should take upon themselves to to bring back just ONE Jew to Torah. Through that we will also work on ourselves (since we must be an example to that one Jew) and do "teshuva sheleima".
2. Teshuva sheleima includes living in Eretz Yisrael. We must all make aliyah because we must show Hashem our Achdut as Am Yisrael, thus bringing Mashiach b'rachamim and not through worse things lo aleinu.
Some nice points:
- When one does teshuva, all decrees against him do not become בטל rather they are passed on to our enemies, thus teshuva sheleima is the only way to truly defeat our enemies (Hamas, Hezbollah, Ahmadinijad, etc).
- Moshe Rabeinu BEGGED HaKadosh Baruch Hu to enter EY, yet he was denied! We can just buy a plane ticket and GO! (Of course it seems difficult to just pick up and move, but we take for granted the fact that Hashem grants us access to the land Moshe Rabbeinu was denied!)
You can PM me for more info.
You can also view it on www.shofar.net!

And yes, around 5000 were there B"H. Although that is not 18,000 (how much Nassau Coliseum holds) still there was a great energy having 5000 Jews come together to hear a great Rav speak.
