I am looking for ideas where to go on vacation. I am willing to take a flight of up to 8 hours from NY. I am not willing to drive or rent a car when I am on vacation . Any Ideas?

What does that mean? You're looking for someplace that all the attractions are within walking distance to wherever you stay? Or you'd take taxis/hire a driver?
I don't have any ideas offhand but there are plenty of lodge/resort places around.
