I always spend tons of time browsing for shoes but the truth is that the Jewish brands are unique in their style. Bh lately there are mid price trendy quality options to choose from so it’s not worth spending hours on Amazon.

I don’t live on the east coast and can’t try on the shoes. So perroquet etc would have to be ordered online…
Which frum company would you use that can ship back and forth for free??
And while I’ll get my older dd more expensive shoes, I’m still of the mentality that 6 year olds don’t get expensive shoes… under $50

I see this show so far…
https://www.amazon.com/MARC-JO.....ss_tl
Closest to their size… not even cheap

Kids in first- second grade definitely wear these styles in simple school. It's a mixture of these and loafers. Booties and laces are popular in more trendy schools.
I’ve seen Mary janes and t straps but not these styles. It’s a sleeker look

You can't go wrong with Marc Joseph if they fit. I know normal trendy people in lkwd who bought the ones with the grommets and the ones with the hearts. No need to get for 67. There are many styles and colors.

Marc Joseph has booties that my daughter has had the last 3 years. They fit in fine in Brooklyn schools. There are kids who wear booties in Sept but I think it's too hot

Please could you post the ones you have?

I would not put this on a 6 year old. It’s just not the right style.

Marc Joseph is not exactly in style nor is it really popular. It’s ok but I don’t see how/ why it’s more amazing than what she posted. I got it for my kids and they were the only ones in their schools with it. Just something to keep in mind.

I looked at the frum websites… I think $60 is expensive for little girl shoes…
Am I being unreasonable?

No it's not a must to spend a lot of money on kids shoes. I'm speaking as someone who works in a large girls school and sends my daughter to another school. Marc Joseph doesn't stick out. The links you posted would stick out as nerdy. I'm not saying Marc Joseph is the height of fashion. But they will not strike anyone as "off" or "nerdy"

Considering that frum stores charge $120 a pair of shoes, $60 is a great price.
I got my girls shoes at Zara for $43.
Next Direct often has nice shoes, though I don't know their return policy.

Another thing about cheap shoes from Zara etc... they are usually not leather. I only buy leather because it's breatheable. Otherwise they sweat all day

I need the same thing but for girl going into 5th. She is concerned about style but I don’t want to pay Jewish prices. Also live out of town so I can’t go to local store. Any links so appreciated. I wish my maximum is $40, is that even feasible? (No chunky heel, she didn’t like it)
