Is it true United and Delta will put you on an ElAl flight at no additional charge if they cancel your flight? Had flights canceled this week with United, someone told me this but I haven’t had any success with the airline.
Just curious if anyone’s actually done this and how to go about it?

Delta is some sort of partner with elal so they might. Not united.

My united flight was canceled.
They offered me a flight home from Greece or a direct flight once they start flying again.
I need to pay for my own flight to Greece.
I hear Delta is better.

These days with so few flights going in and out of Israel, it's difficult for airlines that cancel to put passengers on elal because they are usually sold out.
I wouldn't book a upcoming ticket on another airline sha assume they'll get me on elal if they cancel. Hatslacha.
