When my grandparents in law passed away my MIL gave back things to different grandchildren that were theirs or gifted by them.
One of these things is a framed picture from our wedding that has all the relatives from that side. We gifted this to my husbands grandparents 20 years ago and it's a beautiful picture of all that side of the family. The grandparents hung it in their living room for many years.
I have no idea what to do with it now. I don't need it or want it. I have the same picture in my wedding album and I don't see any reason to hang this picture in my home especially as it's only one side of the family, it's years and years old and we don't have much to do with these relatives at this point (lots of not frum second cousins kind of thing). My in laws have the same framed photo in their house so they don't need it either.
Can I just throw it out?

I’d just keep it and maybe put it in a shelf or coffee table..

I have a box in the attic of photos I don’t feel it’s right to throw out pictures but I’m a grandchild of holocaust survivors so bc they only came back from Hungary with only 2 or 3 family photos
I have weird thoughts on the matter🙈

It's a large framed picture that was on a wall.
I'm also weird about throwing out pictures but this is just annoying me.

Id throw.
You aren't going to want it in 10 yes so why store it.
If theoretically you keep it and in 5 yes you have to pack up to move would it come with? Safe to say no.

I would throw it out. You already have the picture, just think of it as a copy you don’t need

Personally I'd remove it from its frame and put the photo away with other photos. Doesn't take up more space than a paper.
If there's no way to remove it, I'd toss it.

Yes, put the photo with the other photos and use the frame for a photo you want to hang on your wall.

I would toss. It's not like it's the only copy of this photo. If anyone ever wants their own print you can make another one.
What's the point of storing it in your basement and then throwing it out when you need to move?

I scan items such as these and just keep the digital copy!
