I can’t have fish and I don’t want to do heavy cheeses every night - pastas with a cream sauce are fine. Also trying to stay GF and sugar free but will skip if it’s too difficult

My current menu:

Shakshuka
Malawach
Sourdough pizza
Cauliflower mockoroni
Falafel
Gf pasta with cream sauce?

It’s honestly kind of boring so please share whatever you’ve got.

Rice with quinoa mix

I love adding salads to the above and some form of protein. For example: Cabbage salad/rice with quinoa/protein/a side of a dip

Tacos with beans, guacamole and cheese

Falafel

Lentil soup

Mushroom barley stew

Quiche with veggies

Casserole with fish and a starch / protein. Add a soup mix and/or spices for flavor

Any of the above can be made GF and sugar free.

This is a great recipe, even my kids who officially don’t like zucchini, like it!

It’s honestly kind of boring so please share whatever you’ve got.

You only need 6ish dinners really. Monday - Thursday. Also Sunday, erev TB and Motzei TB.

Falafel plate (falafel balls, fried eggplant, fees, Israeli salad, pickled onions, pickles, tehini, pita optional)

Sabich sandwich or Sabich platter/bowl.

Veggie or lentil burgers, toasted buns (or roasted portobello mushroom caps as bun) with sliced tomato, lettuce, red onion and some sauces to drizzle.

Quesadillas with sautéed veggies and cheese. Serve with creamy tomato soup.

Eggplant boats with tehina, roasted chickpeas, pomegranate arils.

Taco shells or flour tortillas. Warm black beans seasoned with taco seasoning. Sprinkle of cheese. Cubed avocado, tomato and scallions. Serve with fresh rice.

Avocado toasts topped with spiced roasted crispy chickpeas or sunny side up.

Potato frittata or Spanish tortilla with a large salad.

Power bowl with sections of quinoa, roasted cubed sweet potato, caramelized onion and lettuce, with added nuts, seeds, maybe edamame, and dressing.

Cheese pancakes made with cottage cheese. Serve with with fruit and cucumber sandwiches.

Eggplant parmesan stacks with Greek salad.

Sesame noodles: to a box of cooked (drained) spaghetti add 1/3 cup each soy sauce, sugar, oil, sesame seeds, scallions, and a just few shakes of toasted sesame oil. Add marinated and browned small cubes of tofu.

Tuna casserole

This is really good. You can switch out the mushroom soup for soup mix or spices and water/milk/cream

Yes quinoa has a lot of protein in it, I sometimes add sweet potatoes to make it even more filling but it’s filling on its own mixed with different cooked or raw veggies, sometimes seeds, sometimes feta cheese etc.. anything goes with quinoa
Last week I actually sautéed onion and sweet potatoes, mixed it with quinoa and that was our supper! It was delicious, easy and filling

If you want to stay low carb best for you is a protein mixed with salad

Scrambled eggs mixed with little mayo and salad
Tuna mixed with salad
Sardines mix with mayo
Salad topped with cubed Avocado, or nuts, or chic peas
Stuffed portobello cap with sautéed veggies or Spinach ( melted cheese optional) same with eggplant rollatini or squash boats just fill with sautéed veggies
If you want to do lc ziti, you can do with zucchini, zoodles or Spaghetti squash or stuff half of Spaghetti squashed with sautéed veggies and melted cheese.

Then if you don't want dairy just plain pareve foods like pasta, potatoes, rice, eggs, roasted veggies, pareve soups like split pea, potato, bean, zucchini, mushroom barley. Stir fry veg.

You can do low carb dairy mushroom soup.

This is all great, thank you!

I didn’t know that quinoa is full of protein. I cook with it all the time but strictly as a side dish

Chickpea spinach tomato curry over rice. Or really any vegetarian Indian curry. They're extra great because curries cook quickly and reheat well, so if you need to make dinner the night before a busy day, it's no problem
