I'm talking about a dirty bathroom, toys not put away, floor not mopped. Does your dh initiate to clean these things or doesn't bother him? If I wouldn't clean the bathroom, it would go dirty for who knows how long. If I wouldn't wash the bath mat, it would stay dirty.

Nope he doesn’t care at all. It’s really annoying because stuff he used will get filthy and he’ll just ignore it and by the time I see it it’s nasty.

He cares, but also doesn't comment or lift a finger.

Doesn't care as long as no clutter goes on his bed. He only notices things that are dangerous or extremely unhygienic and he will clean them.
Other stuff, I have to ask him for help.

He cares, and unfortunately im the one who usually makes it messy and also doesnt notice when its getting dirty (bathroom, etc) until he points it out to me.
I try my best, and I do clean, but he definitely cleans more than me

It bothers him very much but he never told me anything (I’m pretty good at keeping things In order but sometimes I’m overwhelmed…)
If it bothers him and he sees I’m overwhelmed he just does it himself.
Just today he washed the dishes cleared the whole main floor and vacuumed.. he’s the best ever!!

He doesn't really care but he is in charge of the heavy cleaning. He does it once weekly and if it needs cleaning sooner I need to point it out.

He straightens up more than I do. Toys and main living area. Organizes garage and attic. But he won’t mop or clean the kitchen. He won’t clean bathrooms or do his laundry. If I cleaned the whole house and asked him just to mop I think he would.

Toys and mess from children doesn't bother my husband (or myself). Our home was spotless clean while we waited to be blessed with children.
If he sees something needs to be cleaned he does it. Like sweeping, vacuuming, wiping down the toilet seat and vanity, dishes....
I do the laundy and tidying up and organizing

He cares more than I do and angrily whips the house into shape in no time.

Does he notice if it's very messy and dirty? Yes
Does he do anything about it? No
Does he say anything to me about doing something about it? Also no.
He does thank me when it's clean so I know he notices.

My husband has ocpd and I’ve learned how to make sure it’s clean and organized for the both of us. I am also a clean freak so it’s all good and we are lucky 😄 he won’t touch a mop but will hang the laundry, fold the laundry, wash the porch, clean up with a broom sometimes, put bleach in the toilet, etc. he also will clean something off the floor that bothers him immediately with a wipe. I do the rest of the stuff
