I always say I hated knowing so early. I panicked about everything, but you will figure it out like everyone else does. It will be crazy for a few months (years) but the reward pays off.
Best of luck for a healthy rest of pregnancy and happy babies and mom!

Thanks so much for all your well wishes!
Anything I should be aware of regarding the pregnancy?
My Dr said to continue as normal until 20 weeks and then I will go to a high risk Dr who partners with them for a scan. After that they will see me more often to track the growth
Was that your experiences?

My twins just turned one #4 and #5. For now focus on taking care of yourself, I bought the book "When you're expecting twins, triplets or quads" by Barbara Luke and it was extremely helpful in teaching me how to eat in order to keep the babies healthy and in as long as possible. I definitely recommend. Also, I would recommend seeing an MFM. I ended up needing a weekly sonogram to make sure both babies were getting enough blood flow. Feel good!

My. Identical twins which do not run in familys it happens by chance have a older siblings by a year
My twins were premies
The first few months were hard
We hired live ins who did not speak English that only helped with the kids with no cleaning
We sent them to day care for a few hours
And they all were the youngest in the class which went well

Mom=high risk doctor. Stands for maternal fetal medicine.
I had an uneventful pregnancy and health delivery
I used the site https://www.twiniversity.com/
For lots of good twin info. They have lots of messages boards for all things twin related.

I’m always high risk so I stayed with my MFM. Only difference is that the NST took longer and a little bit more ultrasounds.

Mazel Tov! Sweet surprise.
You're probably not thinking about this yet but once you settle a bit I want you to know that you can get an aid 12 hours a day for each of the twins on insurance.
I know someone that is very efficient with this and will help you get approved as soon as the babies are born iyh.

Yes you can. Some mothers get too overwhelmed with so much.
