Don’t know what part D is. When you are terminated from Familycare and get a fair hearing the State kicks in straight Medicaid as of the date your appeal was received. So if you didn’t apply for a hearing for a few months they won’t backdate it.
My hearing was scheduled to be on zoom and they give you a chance to upload docs beforehand. You and the caseworker who denied you appear before the judge. Someone calls you a few days before to go over it with you.
I do think you should reach out to a govt official, this is a stupid mistake that is just not getting resolved….

We also got terminated after being told we would get an extension since they claim to never have received documents that I sent in. They admitted to me that they probably lost it/Never uploaded to their system. We were supposed to be reinstated a few months ago... I keep on calling & getting nowhere. They say they're very backed up

Thanks for your help. I emailed the senator of Lakewood today. I received a call today from the nj familycare office to help me with my application. They, told me they have thousands of applications to process.

What is the address and will they tell me that they can’t help since I filed a grievance? I’m happy to make the trip but not if it’s a waste of my time.

The lrrc (lakewood resource and referral s]center) contacted the senator for me and I was given coverage asap… good luck!
