After my son got glasses I noticed he developed an odd facial tic, involving his mouth eyes and nose. Can it be related to having glasses and if yes what can I do to resolve?

Omg my dd has the same and it's the strangest thing. She's prone to tics and has other ones, but this facial grimace she only does while wearing her glasses.

Maybe they aren’t fitted correctly?

Facial grimace is exactly how I’d describe it!

He pushes them up right up to his face. Refuses to wear it any other way.

When they fit correctly kids don’t touch them. Are they sitting on the ears correctly?

I used to do exactly what you described to push my glasses up instead of having to use my hands. Even when I stopped wearing glasses it still took time to stop doing it completely bec I was so used to it.

If my son can’t be bothered pushing up his glasses he will do a nose scrunch and twist to get them up. I couldn’t understand why he started behaving like that and eventually asked what makes him do it and he said oh just to move my glasses!
