I know there are some camps that maintain instagram accounts. Others have daily pics on a website. My boys old camp had daily website and weekly professional video
Wondering what is the norm for your camp? How does your camp identify itself? MO. Yeshivish etc.
Do you enjoy seeing the pics? Or do they provide more anxiety?
The camp my current child is in didn’t provide anything first half. I was a little disappointed but wanted to see what the norm is.

Heimish.
I don’t have any children in camp, but from family members, friends- nothing of the sort.
Only the occasional phone call from the boys.. or 3 times a day from the girls

BY yeshivish camp, one email on day one with a bunk picture and names of the counsellors and that’s it from the camp. The girls call home twice a week.

I send girls to two different camps. One sends emails when there is news (campers had a great time on the trip, buses arrived at camp, etc. - several times a week) and one sends texts with important news, 1-2 times a week. No photos and no website. Both are BY camps, one a little more to the right.
My son's camp has a whatsapp group where they post photos and videos daily. Yeshivish/JPF.

Weekly email with summary of activities from that week and a collage of pics from the week.
Kids can call 1-2 times per week.

MO camp, there’s an app that posts tons of photos everyday of which maybe 1-2 will show my kids  it’s exciting to spot them but feels kind of silly too.
We can email letters or mail them and I just got a letter from one kid who has been away a week so far.
