Can you help me find the source? "וידם אהרון"

I remember learning something - I think under the words in the title - but I cant find it in rashi or other mefarshim - actually rashi seems to say the opposite of what I remember learning

It was something to the effect that Aharon was silent because he was in so much pain from loosing Nadav and Avihu, and Moshe gave him mussar, that he should be happy because they died al kidush hashem and that was a kapara on going in to the mishkan drunk

Anyone know what I am refering too?

It's a pasuk in Parshas Shemini
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֗ן הוּא֩ אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֨ר ה ׀ לֵאמֹר֙ בִּקְרֹבַ֣י אֶקָּדֵ֔שׁ וְעַל־פְּנֵ֥י כָל־הָעָ֖ם אֶכָּבֵ֑ד וַיִּדֹּ֖ם אַהֲרֹֽן׃

Here's the Rashi on those words
וידם אהרן. קִבֵּל שָׂכָר עַל שְׁתִיקָתוֹ, וּמַה שָּׂכָר קִבֵּל? שֶׁנִּתְיַחֵד עִמּוֹ הַדִּבּוּר — שֶׁנֶּאֶמְרָה לוֹ לְבַדּוֹ פָּרָשַׁת שְׁתוּיֵי יַיִן (ויקרא רבה י"ב):

Right, I looked at rashi - but he doesn't seem to be saying what I remember.

It was something like Moshe was telling him to stop mourning his sons, because they died as tzadikim.....
