I'm trying to understand what type of seminary this is - what types of girls go, what the daily schedule is like, dress code, types of teachers, etc. All up to date info welcomed, TIA!

BY type but tot so Yeshivish.

Schedule is a bit intense bc it's only half a year, they maximize the half-year time to learn so classes end at 10pm
They don't have as much free time as other sems typically do but they have a decent amount

They go A LOT of trips. More than most places.

SUPER sweet and caring staff

I went a few years ago. Only the best to say.
I wouldn’t call it yeshivish at all- it definitely attracts a pretty wide range of girls due to it being half year, but I did like that.
I liked the hashkafa they gave, wasn’t ’brain washy’ and they encouraged girls to think for themselves. But very Bais Yaakov style hashkafa.
Not very academic so if that’s something that you’re looking for specifically then don’t think it’s the place. Pretty sure they just had parsha tests and some easy midterms Smile

Classes were engaging… wonderful teachers and staff. TONS of trips and amazing ones at that… the Goldsteins (Lahav owners) also run a summer camp so their trips are really well done. It was a very important and special part of the experience… everyone got a great feel for EY.

Did I miss anything? Smile
