Can everyone list ideas of outdoor types of trips for kids in Lakewood or surrounding areas (hikes/vegetable picking)…….thanks!

Allaire state park has diff hiking options
Manasquan reservoir has 5 mile path around the reservoir. Also has nature center and boat tours.
Cattus island path to small beach. Nice nature center
Lots of hiking options in pine barrens. Must spray for ticks.
hallocks for vegetable picking.
For little kids you can try allaire community farm. I don’t know if it’s the swans but we used to go to a great petting soon in a similar spot years ago. It’s near allaire state park.

Sprinkler park and Jackson jungle
Lakewood lake has boating biking playground trail around and new pedestrian bridge
Mantoloking park by the bridge and after 6 go to the Mantoloking beach
Milk and honey farms
