My 2 year old started falling asleep at 10 because she still takes a 2 hour nap every day
She cannot skip the nap because she is extremely tired and cranky without one

Currently she naps from 11:30-1:30 and I put her to sleep around 7:30. She goes happily, and doesn't cry or ask to come out but I hear her talking and playing in her crib for a long time.
Then she is up around 7:30. She needs a nap because she didn't get the sleep she needed at night due to first falling asleep around 10

I'd ideally love her to sleep at night 7:30-7:30
I don't need her to nap if she isn't acting cranky and miserable during the morning hours...

Help me out here please

Can you wake after an hour of her nap?

9.5 hours may be enough. She may have gotten the sleep she needed. Or maybe do an hour nap instead.

She’s playing in her crib from 7:30-10?
Sounds good to me.

Also is she getting enough energy out during the day? You can try some rough play before bed to tire her out. Make sure she’s getting outside during the day if possible. Dim the lights 2 hours before bedtime so natural melatonin builds up. I would say if she’s napping and she’s sleeping even 9pm to 7:30 that is great. 10 is a little late but if she’s not upset and bothering you and falls asleep till 730 that’s a win lol

It's not enough hours of sleep for her because she is extremely cranky in the morning and is desperate for a nap

Could it be that she’s just hungry? Not all babies that don’t wake up happy are always tired it can be something else/or just takes some people time to adjust in the morning. Is she cranky the whole morning until the nap? After she’s fed etc?

try making the nap earlier. move it up gradually, like in 10 or 15 minute increments over time until it start a half hour or hour earlier. then hopefully she will also sleep better at night.

She wakes up happy...then eats breakfast, plats, eats a snack and takes a nap. She is very cranky before the nap

I am going to try to cut the nap shorter today
