My daughter broke her leg at 5 years old. We did a lot of coloring, reusable stickers, glitter glue, beads, paint by sticker. Screen time if you’re okay with that. Someone gifted her a generations doll so she would play with the dolls hair. The biggest help was neighborhood teenage girls coming to play with her. She loved the attention.

Thanks!! Actually just placed an order for a few playdough sets with target for delivery for tomorrow.

I love the projector story teller thingie! What a great idea! Thanks!! Bshitta I don't do any screen time at all and I'm afraid if I start it'll never end. But this is a great alternative.

(I do have a medically complicated 10 year old and the one exception I have is a tablet with a couple of eductional games and color by number for when she has a hospital stay. But I really don't want to do it in my house.)

That's so so sweet, but I'm not in Lakewood, and BH keeping it reasonable, I'm able to buy a few things for her. I was totally out of ideas though and the ladies here are hitting it!

Sticker sets from incentomagic.com

There's these $5 sets of reusable sticker pads that Judaica stores sometimes sell.

Baking, perler beads, painting, slime. Is it possible for you to put her on a swing?

My little ones love this kiddie hidden pictures book. As soon as I took it out to see the name my 4 year old excitedly took it to do.
https://www.amazon.com/Treasur.....ss_tl

We also have a collection of Pop-up Peekaboo! books that the little ones love.

These were much cheaper at Home Goods / Marshalls.

Here's another hidden pictures book that's also cute and the kids enjoy- https://www.amazon.com/Search-.....ss_tl

I remember when my dd did this a couple of years ago. After the first couple of days she was all over the house, somehow even in a full leg cast. She couldn't do the stairs, but she got around and I didn't need to entertain her.
I got her some new toys like a mini dollhouse and she spent some time playing with that in my bed (as she preferred my bed). Also a writing tablet.
Something like this.

It's like a whiteboard but no markers or mess, and because it lights up, it's much more exciting as well.
I think there was also a playmobil house-she could sit on the floor and play.

What's a mini doll house? Like a Polly pocket? Or is it the Playmobil house?

My daughter's very small for her age and is weighed down by the cast lol. Although she has tried scooting in a sitting position.
