The imas here are right that it sounds shady and typically you should not provide your SS and money to a random stranger.
HOWEVER in this specific instance there is indeed a way to make money doing this. Each SS is limited which is why he would take a cut for each SS he uses. While not illegal, it is technically against the terms of service of each website so I’m not vouching for the ethics of it.
If you do decide to go ahead with it, make sure it is someone you trust. You can’t be handing out your money and info to unverified strangers like that.

There was an article in the Jewish link explaining this - or perhaps a similar - business. It highlighting it positively an specifically said everything is fine legally and following regulations. No idea what to make of it. Had the owners pictures and names.

I’d run the other way. Sounds like a great way to lose money and be scammed for life. Never give anyone your social. That’s a basic.
