I have pretty dry skin but no matter what kind of moisturizer I use, it always makes me breakout.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried something natural and fragrance free?

I don't have issues so I don't know, but there's so much chemicals and irritants in regular products, the ingredient fragrance is completely unregulated and it is a known irritant.

I would look for something by a small business thats 100% homemade and natural and fragrance free if I were you.

Agree, I've found many "sensitive skin" moisturizers irritating but this brand is actually good.

I also like Cetaphil.

Cerave breaks me out... I think we're all different and sensitive to different ingredients so OP may have to try a few.

This may not work for sensitive skin but I used to use Noxzema skin cream. Have you tried using just a teeny bit of olive oil? Literally just a drop spread real thin and then, if the skin looks greasy, blot with a tissue.

I have a similar situation. I use olive oil (I bought a bottle meant for skin). My skin isn't dry anymore when I use it everyday.

I feel a little stupid saying to every post that it makes me break out but I think olive oil is the worst of all for my skin.
It almost looked like I broke out in hives when I used olive oil.

You can try pure coconut oil.

When I used to do a lot of dishes, in the winter, my hands were bad & e/t made it worse except Adwe skin cream. May be too greasy for face but u can try at night.

When I go for a facial I always remind her my skin's v sensitive but she feels compelled to use some "extra sensitive" stuff & it always burns & she has to take it off. & this is s/o w supposedly v natural products. But look, a fruit acid cam be 100% natural & still gonna burn sensitive skin.

I finally switched cosmeticians...

I use jojoba oil on my face and it's the best moisturizer I've ever used. It actually keep my skin from being dry and flaky and I don't break out from it.

Makes sense, it’s highly comedogenic.

Dermatology here-
Avoid any oil containing products as they may solve the dry skin but will like cause pimples.
Some brands mentioned above are my go to for patients. If you had issues with those I would say you can try neutrogena hydro boost gel cream. Really gentle and hydrating.
Another alternative would be eucerin immersive hydration.
Let us know what you end up doing Smile

I use adapalene and bioderma sensibo light soothing cream.
Adapalene on its own is too drying and any moisturizer without adapalene made me break out. I tried a ton of moisturizers before this one. It's really gentle.

I also started using hydrating cleansers ale found that they help. Aveeno and sensibo both are good
