I know he’s tired. He’s yawning and has a full stomach and a clean diaper. I swaddle him shut the lights and put him down and he starts fussing.
I used to put him to sleep in my arms ( or almost asleep) and then put him down afterward but now that he’s more alert when I do that he wants to engage or looks around at everything and stays wide awake
Then I end up with an overtired infant who’s even harder to get to sleep. And when he finally does sleep he’s awake much faster to eat
Tips?
