Is there a difference between Yeshaya and Yeshaya-hu? Meaning is it the same name or two different names? (The navi was called by both)

Same name, I can imagine people use the longer form if they want extra letters of Hashem's name in the name.
Like Yonatan/ Yehonatan, Eliya/ Eliyahu.

Right. Two grandfathers one with Hashems name at the end the other not. So was wondering if I give that name in the future iyh.

Yeah, so that’s what I was wondering not sure to give with Hashem’s name at the end if we use this name. (One grandfather has hashems name and the grand father from the other side is not)

All the yeshay-hu’s go by shaya. Same with the yeshayas.
So nickname will be the same just if we give their name, we want it to be after both grandfathers.
