Anyone else having a hard time with the heat tonight? My a/c (central) is not doing enough…

They often lower the power in severe heat to try to prevent a blackout.

Thanks for the quick reply 🙂. Yes, I know they do that; I guess I’m a little perplexed because the a/c on my 1st floor was fine, but my bedroom is on the 2nd floor and it’s far from fine. And I’m somewhere in menopause so night sweats and hot flashes also. It’s super fun. I totally recommend being a middle -aged female 🙃.

Your filter might need to be changed. And heat rises. Maybe turn the ac on colder downstairs to help the upstairs cool off.

Thanks. Filter was just cleaned very recently. I actually turned on the a/c upstairs (attic floor). My husband said it might help the 2nd floor-unit, I guess- to not have to work as hard.
Lol- I think I just needed to kvetch a bit.

I’m in Lakewood but we had power outages due to the heat. It’s possible that it’s the same issue.
