Jackson spray park

I took my kids to the spray park in Jackson today around 4 pm and when we got there, the water was off so we tried waving our hands in front of the sensor and it didn't go on. I checked online and it said the spray park was open today so I'm not sure if anyone can tell me why the water was off. My kids were quite disappointed since we drove over half an hour to get there. Did anyone else have this happen? We tried calling the phone number listed on the sign but no answer.

Is that the park that’s right next to the animal print park?

I’ve been there 3 times when visiting Lakewood and each time it was off for a different reason. Check their Facebook page for information but it doesn’t seem to be accurate.

I read somewhere (maybe lakewood scoop or alerts) that it's closed for repairs.

There was a notice today that all non urgent use of water are illegal for the next 2 days. Such as watering the grass/sprinklers, car wash etc. I guess this may have been the reason.
