eggs/omelet

Really, if you prepare a huge batch of veggies on Sunday (or when you have time), then you just scramble some eggs in the morning, stick in the veggies, and go. It takes 5 minutes to make, so much healthier than cereal and fills you with healthy fats and protein!

Overnight oats.
We do eqaul amounts oats and milk. Sprinkle Salt. Chia seeds. Maple syrup. Vanilla extract. Blueberry and strawberries. I make a bunch at a time and we all grab on our way out.

Egg omelet with cottage cheese and sautéed frozen spinach. Can eat in corn tortilla to make more filling.

Greek yogurt fruit shake.

Greek yogurt bowl. Top plain Greek yogurt with a diced fruit like peach, banana, apple, blueberry, strawberry. Top with homemade sugar free granola. (I make a version with home made apple sauce instead of oil and maple syrup instead of sugar. Make a huge batch and keep in the freezer)

I make egg bites and freeze them in little ziplocks, and then I defrost them when I need them. This way I don't even have to fry the eggs each morning. Add some brown rice rice cakes and you have a filling macro meal!

10 eggs
1 cup cottage cheese
salt and pepper

Blend it up and pour into muffin tins (makes about a dozen). Sprinkle shredded cheese, you can also top with veggies like pepper, red onion etc.
Bake at 350 for ~30 minutes in until golden.
Enjoy!

What is your main focus in „healthy“?
Most protein? Least sugar? Most fiber? Least fat? Most fat?
Some healthy breakfasts are healthy for some and unhealthy for others

French toast made with cooking spray

It’s basically (less than) 2 eggs n two slices whole wheat bread. Healthy and nutritionist-approved. I don’t know what this was hugged.

If you love cereal like I do, I wouldn't give it up.

Here's how I do cereal to keep it satiating and binge-free:
Full fat plain greek yogurt (protein)
fiber one cereal (carb and extra fiber)
sugar cereal (for my sweet tooth)
berries (some more fiber)
peanut butter for some extra fats if I'm in the mood

I have found that shifting from carbs to proteins in the morning gives me so much more satiety and energy! Eggs in any form - fried, scrambled, hard-boiled, with some avocado and/or vegetables - makes me feel full and happy without that crash I was experiencing late morning.

those ideas are carb and fat heavy. I don't eat like that.

protein shake, cheese sticks, coffee, tea. cut up cucumbers. eggs in microwave. bar with a lot of fiber and protein. banana or berries.

Granola recipe

3 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts/seeds (pumpkin seeds, almonds, pecans, walnuts)
2 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 cup applesauce (I used compote leftover from Shabbos)
3 Tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract

Bake @ 325 mixing every 15 minutes. Should 45 min - 1 hr. Compote should be dried out. Watch so doesn’t burn.
Store in freezer
