Some opinions consider it sheimos if full name is written out on a paper.

I heard that you hope to erase the name soon, when s/he gets better and you’re not supposed to erase a full name. I guess it’s the same idea as shaimos

My husband says there is no source. Similar to bouncing three times after shmona esrei.

We learned to do this in Bais Yaakov, but as an adult was told there's no source for this and we were taught wrong.
When I type it out I type the full name. When I write it out I still find myself using a dash.

I always thought 'bouncing' 3 times at end of shmona esreh was instead of the 'kadosh kadosh kadosh" bouncing in kedusha in the chazan's repetition - when you are davening by yourself you do this 'mini' 'zecher le-kedusha" instead.
Just my made up interpretation, didn't get it from any source.
ETA, Ive never seen ben/bat without the b.

I believe that's also a misconception and should only be 1, not 3.
ben/bat I understood to be where you would soon erase (like on a chalkboard) and should be sensitive not to erase a person's name
