Is this worth a drive from Brooklyn? For a 2.5 year old child.

2.5 is young. I went with 5 and 7 year olds and it was worth it. Not sure I'd drive far for a kid who would be happy in the park

My 2 year loved it, but I went with older kids as well. There was a section with bubbles that he loved and also a section meant for little kids that he found fun. Then a nice amount of stuff that he was to young for.
That age would be just as happy going to the Brooklyn children's museum where the whole museums is geared for his age, so a bit more for him to do there... So probably not worth driving all the way down to Long Island...

For that age go to your local museums and save on travel. Or stick to the soft play. 2.5 is very young

Yes my kids that age loved it. It’s all hands on so much to do. They love the toddler room, the bubbles, the sand… I’d do it it’s nice to go on a trip once in a while even if they are young.
