Watching the news from afar can really give you the wrong picture.

Yes, there are protests all over, but so what? Not many outside of actual college campuses have been attacked. I'd personally be scared to send my kid to a secular college now but for most of us living in frum enclaves, life is not that different now than it was a year ago.

Immediately following Oct. 7 I felt the hostility more from random non-Jews, but not anymore.

The protests make a lot of noise, and that's all. And don't forget all the court cases and judgments being brought against them and the college administrators that allowed the protests to take place. Biden may not be the most pro-Israel president but there is still some justice and protection against antisemitism in this country.

May Hashem keep us all safe, wherever we are.
