When I go swimming I wear swimming shorts, swimming top, and swimming bra. I also wear a swimming cap, but I am not counting that as clothing. So I would say 3 pieces.
I don't like the one piece bathing suit because I don't like the build in bra I would rater pick a bra custom that I like. Also I often go swimming during lunch break and come to work wearing the bathing suit under my clothes, with a one piece it's hard to go to the bathroom.

One. It's a tznius bathing suit which is a dress and pants attached. The "bra" in it is awful (it can't really be called that) so I've considered wearing a separate bra but haven't as of yet.

My neighbors can see into my pool unfortunately so I wear a two piece bathing suit and then a swim skirt and swim top over it + a tied on tichel. I really should wear leggings as well but I can't bear to put on another layer.

3 regular bra since swim ones look ridiculous on me, long sleeve swim shirt and skirt to my knees. But I don’t really swim mostly watching my kids in the water.

B"H my pool is private so if I am alone or with dh and tahor I wear a bikini. If other ppl are around I'll put on a swim shirt on top.

Sometimes I'll wear a 2 piece swim suit - tankini and regular bottoms.
