Is there any issue with a kallah wearing braids?

Someone asked me and I've never heard of there being an issue, but I thought maybe it's someone's minhag?

Hashem braided Chavas hair before Adam saw her.
I say braids are fine. I think they should be worn in a mature way to not look like a child.

From OU Torah:

Some have the custom that before the Some have the custom that before the chuppah we untie any knots that are on the clothing of the chosson and kallah (Sefer Matamim Chosson V'Kallah 78 and Shulchan Haezer vol. 2 page 31). This is also the custom of Chabad Chassidim (Sefer Haminhagim page 76)

Anyone I know who had a braid undid it before the Chuppah, just like a crossing who has a shoelaces unties his shoes

Braids are a very symbolic in Yiddishkeit. Shows the power of מח over דמיון
Hashem braided chavas hair in 24 braids before showing her to Adam symbolizing the 24 matnas Kehuna. It’s a deep inyan
(Connected to why we braid challah)

Interesting, that Hashem braided Chava's hair but some have a minhag to loosen braids. I guess there is such a minhag! Love imamother for learning new things!

I had braids in my hair under a half wig.
I didn't know it was a problem. The lady who did it was a frum person who does alot of the frum girls for wedding where I grew up and abroad.

Just thinking about the practicality of twenty-four braids fitting on one person's head, makes me wonder if this is metaphorical, rather than something to be taken literally.

I've seen buns with some breads.

Also now I see breads aren't cultural appropriation! 24 braids!

For birth I've heard removing knots

I had my hair in a braided updo. My sister had a braid woven across her hair and the rest was down. Never thought this could be an issue.

I know it’s minhag/Kabbalah for chosson not to wear knots when walking down to chuppah.
I wonder if it applies to kallah as well.

There’s a hairdo that’s popular in a certain group that lives where I do that involves the hair sectioned and braided into a lot of thin braids. I never counted because it’s rude to stare but more than 24 could for sure be the number. The hairdo isn’t as popular as it was a few years ago, but I’ve definitely seen twenty four braids or more fitting on one person’s head.

I've always imagined more of game of thrones style braids. Beautiful hairstyles built on braids

Micro braids is very common amongst African Americans. It’s way more than 24 braids
