I lost my mother when I was young and stubbornly tried to do everything myself. Now bH I have a family I'm realizing my cleaning skills are lacking. I don't mind untidiness sometimes for the sake of sanity, but I can't deal with things not looking or smelling clean.
My home is a small two bedroom Israeli apartment.
Can someone please just tell me their system for thoroughly cleaning everything and what products they use? I want my home to smell good and feel clean again. When I come home it smells stale and looks dirty even after I've cleaned.

To counter a stale smell I'd think ventilation is key. And making sure the garbage is taken out. I'd also use disinfectant products in the garbage can, sinks, around the toilets. You can use vinegar or a basic disinfectant spray like Sano 99.9.

Ritzpaz has a lot of different scents of floor cleaner that I like.
I disinfect my toilets every day or every other day. Leave the windows open as much as possible.
Wipe down the counters twice a day with a kitchen spray.
Make sure you take out all garbage frequently.

What products do you use to clean the bathroom?
How do you dust?

I like the bathroom cleansers by Astonish. For the toilet bowl I use Duck. Dusting I usually just use a bit of water on a microfiber cloth, but if you have wood furniture you can try Pledge.

Get rid of rotten fruit and veg.
I had a bad smell in my apt for days - I kept changing the garbage bags, and cleaning with bleach, but I smelt it every time I came into the house.
Then I found a bad potato on my vegetable rack.
Funnily enough no one else actually smelt the bad smell.

Toilet: Duck for the bowl, also for the brush container put duck inside.
Toilet seat, bath, sink etc: I love the dettol pomegranate or desytol. But can't be bought everywhere. I find it gives a really fresh smell without bleach.
Kitchen counters, tables and sink: I use Astonish kitchen it's a lemony flavour. Yakovi company now imports it so it's easily available. (Before it was imported I couldnt find it for a couple of months so used a different brand, someone came into my apartment and said straight away, I don't know what spray you use to use but I always loved the smell of your house, why did you change)
Floor cleaner also has alot of different smells I generally get from the range of סנו ריצפז fresh home (using now exotic hotel and loving the smell)
Laundry I love either bedin blue or Lenor gold
Happy cleaning

When I clean my bathroom I do a spray and wipe down.
When I'm in the mood/ desperate need of a deep clean I do it properly with bleach or spray with bleach in.
