For how many years are you teaching?
I just completed 20 ( !!) years of teaching BH!
Feels like a milestone I should celebrate but never heard of anyone celebrating this!

The school in which I work gives out a nice present after working for 15 years and a trip to Eretz Yisroel after 25 years

lol my dh doesn’t agree with me that it’s a milestone ;-) that’s why I’m wondering if I’m crazy for being sentimental about it but then again he doesn’t believe in celebrating birthdays or anniversaries 🤷♀️

Go out with your colleagues to celebrate. They appreciate your milestone!
For DH, it doesn't so much matter if he understands. Rather that he appreciates that it's important to you.

In Israel after 25 years (in official ministry of education schools) you get a bonus every year called מענק יובל.
