Assuming it's not a far away drive, does your dh go to open houses with you or you go yourself?

Ok not exactly the same situation but when we were apartment hunting, dh and I weren't always available to go together. We both knew what the hard no's were for each other, so we often ended up just having one of us go check it out. If it was a maybe, the other would go back to see it too.

I usually go to make sure it's spacious enough and to my liking, this way we don't have to bring dc along or I can go when dh is working

I had a newborn when we were looking for a house. So my husband went himself, and if it was interesting we went for a second visit.

Yes and that's when dc is home so we'd need to bring her along, plus dh works on Sundays too

Not usually unless he thinks he’ll like it. Otherwise I go alone or with my parent.

He goes himself and lets me know if he thinks I should look at it. It takes too much emotional energy from me.

We helped our landlord rent out our apartment and most people came as a couple but we did have a few where or the wife or the husband came and then the other one came a different day if they were interested.
This is for rental, for buying no way I’d only go as a couple and don’t see a reason why a child can’t come with you.

When we were looking, there were times when we both weren't available and one of us would go. The other would take pictures and we know each other well enough to know what we were looking for.
And we sometimes did a follow-up visit together if we were interested.
