Once sores crust over or go away it’s not contagious.

My doc said 3 days after the last of the sores crust over AND go flat. Like they can be flat and crusty but if they are still bumpy then crusty doesn't count. Then 3 days.

if I need to be somewhere with little kids and sores didn't go away yet but if I hold her and it's not more than 15 minutes, is it still very contagious? Not even sure it's really coxsackie cuz it's 2 white spots and 2 cankersores that dr said is something else, plus BH hands and feet are clear...wwyd

I'm pretty sure it's only contagious thru touching it, so if no one touches them and they don't touch anything or anyone, you should be fine.
I think it's like that because my kids have never caught it and are exposed daily.

is it possible to be something totally different ie not as contagious if it's BH only in the mouth and 1 spot on hand?

Not accurate. Coxsackie is very contagious and can spread without touching (e.g. coughs and sneezes.)
That said, if you're only going to be out for 15 min and it seems you're not even sure it's Coxsackie anyway, I wouldn't think you're crazy if you go to the 15 minute thing and try to keep as much distance as you can from other kids.

Not everyone gets it the same way.
