Town appliance started charging for the just visit in addition to any labor and repair. They used to charge for the visit and put that toward labor and repair.
Anyone you recommend who is trustworthy and knowledgeable for fixing appliances? Specifically an oven.

Yanky Leiser 732-552-4033 fixed my fridge and my washing machine. Ask him if he does ovens. Very reliable and honest.

Does anyone know if Mr Appliance is or was affiliated with town appliance? I thought it was but it seems they are not. Am I off base or did they used to be affiliated?

Mr appliance used to be town appliance repair department. (franchise owned) about 2 yrs ago they gave it up and became town appliance repair -with the same staff and repair ppl. new phone number.
if you go online you will still see mr appliance - in all their other locations. each one is independently owned and operated
