How much can I charge for a group of 6 newborns in my house, hours are 9-4 , toms river area, starting September?

With or without an assistant?
6 newborns alone is a big group so not more than $6-7 an hour.
If you have an assistant people will pay more , maybe even $10 for that ratio

Location really matters and ratio does too. I pay *extra* for small ration 4:1. I pay $8 /hr in monsey. 6:1 for newborns is considered large ratio so for example in monsey couldnt charge more than 6 / hr for that. If you have an assistant I would think u could get 10 or even 11 for that small ratio.
Fyi a ration higher that 5:1 for newborns does not sound manageable

I do $8/ hr for 1:4 ratio. I wouldn't pay that much for a higher ratio.

What about safety?
Who's watching the kids when you go to the bathroom? They can unintentionally hurt eachother.
What happens if chv there's a fire? You can't get them all out on your own
What happens if a baby chokes?
One person can not possibly SAFELY care for so many babies at once.
Your ratio now is irrelevant. There is a 2nd set of eyes and hands. That's what's most important.

I would much rather send to 2 people with 12 babies than 1 person with 6 babies

It's very different. First of all, one person can rock 3 bouncers while the other makes bottles. You can't rock 2 bouncers while making bottles. You also can bottle feed 2 kids while your partner changes a diaper. You can't change a diaper and bottle feed at the same time. You can rock 2 kids to sleep together. You can't rock a kid to sleep and stop a kid from hitting someone else.
Also, daycares set ups are generally more child proof than you can manage to make your house.

It means more crying babies for longer crying periods.

No, 2 for 12 is not a legal ratio for that age AFAIK, so not sure how they did that, or why you would be imitating.
Did either of you use the restroom during the day by any chance?
In any case, no you should not be taking in 6 infants for any price.

The babies sleep. You can use the restroom then. You can also prepare things ahead of time if you know a certain baby eats every 3 hours etc. it is really not every single baby awake at the same time
