Can I use it when a salad calls for feta cheese? Why is it in all this liquid? What’s different about it from regular feta cheese?

The brine is just keeping it moist. When you remove the cheese, just pat it with a paper towel to get rid of the moisture.

Don’t they sell feta cheese as a brick- without liquid? I thought that’s what I bought in the past.

I have bought it both ways in the US. I don't find it different.
