Putting this in "Inspirational" forum and NOT "issues of concern" because I do not want to start a conversation. I am simply looking for links.

I have some gedolim pictures I want to hang up in my home, and I want to include some female representation as well - I hope that I would have done this anyway, but it's especially important to me as a family with daughters to have female inspiration.

I'm having a hard time finding pictures that would work. I want it to be someone with some personal connection or direct impact on our lives. And I want it to be recent enough to photograph, not a painting or imagined likeness of a figure in distant history, because the pictures I already have are photos and I want the wall to be visually cohesive. It needs to be good enough quality to print in 8x10 - doesn't necessarily need to be super sharp at that size, but some of what I'm finding just really really can't be stretched that far.

My preference is for something I can download and print myself, since budget is a concern (willing to pay for the downloaded file; I'm just going on the assumption that ordering a physical print would be more.)

So far I searched for Sara Schenirer, Rebbetzin Vichna Kaplan, and Dr. Judith Grunfeld. The only pictures I see for any of those are very poor quality and wouldn't look good on my wall of 8x10 relatively modern gedolim photos.

TIA!

What a nice idea. I love it!
I think there is only one standard picture of Sarah Shenirer. If you're willing to spend $ there are photo/graphic artists who I'm sure can touch it up and make it clearer and brighter.
How about Rebbitzen Kanievsky? - Plenty of pictures of her.

Maybe commission a painting based off one of the poor quality photographs. You can find cheap digital artists on Etsy. A lot of our classic male gadol pictures weren't that great originally either.

I want a photo so it will look like a "set" with the ones I already have. They are all contemporary quality pictures - for example I have R' David Feinstein, R' Pam, R' Nosson Tzvi Finkel.

Thanks for the suggestion, but Rebbetzin Kanievsky just doesn't talk to me personally. I'm not Lubavitch either (yes, I know anyone can take inspiration from anywhere... just still fishing for additional ideas)

I'm thinking maybe Rebbetzin Esther Jungreis but could still use a couple more ideas.

It's been my porject for... maybe 15 years or more. It's basically almost ready but never got around to find someone to create it. It will be expensive, and also to sell..
If you do it, please include non Ashkenazim, non Europeans, different hair coverings, and MO

Rabbanit Levinger - a beautiful neshama, the power that resettled Hevron, whom helped tens if not hundreds of thousands of people

I wish! I'm in the US. Maybe that's why I'm more inclined toward diaspora role models? Hm.

Sara Scheirer famously said, dont put me on your wall, carry me in your heart....
Before doing this, check if these women actually want to be on your wall.
The Chofetz Chaim, according to legend, didnt want pictures taken of him.
I think artwork portraying the mitzvot and middos they worked so hard for, may be considered.

Can you do a picture of R David and R Pam with their wives. They were pretty special women too...I don't know anything about R Finkel.

Why not put pictures of your grandmother, great grandmother or a role model from your own family ?

Yes. That's one reason I'm skipping Sara Schenirer even in low quality. But I think
1. Most people didn't get around to specifying one way or another and
2. Once they've been deceased for a while I think there's room to say times have changed and maybe they'd be ok if this is what it takes to inspire us. Though I'm still inclined to respect the wish when it's known.

This is a solid idea. Anyone happen to have a link to a good picture? Free or paid, but on the low end if paid.
