Please help me do my own nails

Due to pregnancy, I can't go into a nail salon.
If I wanted to attempt to do my own nails at home, can someone please help me with what kind of polish/finish I need to buy?
(comparable to getting a gel polish manicure)
amazon links would be most appreciated
I like natural looking, with a soft pinkish/white-ish color.

thank you, if I use the gel polish you linked, will it end up with the same shiny look as the nail salon?
don't I need to put some sort of coat on top of that?

Firstly, there are women who will come to the house, so if that’s more convenient for you that’s always an option.
I like the Essie twisty bottles, it’s a gel formula and lasts a long time- buy the top coat in that line too. They have a few good pinks!

I buy the beetles company gel set on Amazon. Comes with base + top coats in two finishes and many color options.
UV light isnt too expensive when considering that a gel manicure usually costs $32+

I love olive and June nail polish. If u use their base coat and top coat it lasts a long time.

Buy any gel set and light that you like on Amazon. The larger ones come with the base and top coats that give the salon look. I use gellen most of the time.

Nope your good

if you really want the polish to last I recommend filing your nails first (the whole nail, not the top) so it roughs it up thereby making it easier for the polish to grip it and last longer

They're easier to use than gel - as easy as regular polish. They last a few days longer. No light needed.
