Can anyone help me with finding a dress for my son's bar mitzvah? I don't want to spend more than $200. I don't know what is in style, not making something super fancy. Thank you!

Thank you! I have at least one of these dresses for regular shabbos. Shouldn't I be wearing something fancier as the mother of the bar mitzvah boy? Or do people just wear a regular dress?

Myself and most of my friends wore long dresses
or gowns to our son's bar mitzvah. Similar to what I would wear for siblings Friday nt sheva brachos or a close cousins wedding.
If you are wearing short, definitely dressier than every Shabbos.

I'm making a bar mitzvah next week iyh. I am making a more casual weekday event and got a short dress.(Fancy short)
Friday night I'm wearing fancy midi.
Shabbos day long but not super fancy.
Shalosh seudos wearing what I am wearing for weekday iyh.
Honestly on my case I have a hard time finding anything that fits normally as I just had a baby a couple months ago and gained a lot. Happy I was able.to find what I did.
