It won’t get grainy
I want to use the rest as cream cheese to spread

Google says the cream cheese will become grainy,
BUT
It says a cheese ball (meaning coated with nuts or herbs) freezes quite well
WHY?
Isn’t it basically the same thing
So- can I freeze without it becoming grainy
I would like to hear from ppl that froze cream cheese successfully
I’m making cheesecake this week I would like to know the best way to store the extra cream cheese

If you whip/ble d defrosted cream cheese, it regains its creaminess.
