Has anyone been able to get an appointment with Dr Cohen recently? I tried getting an appointment in the winter and they refused to give me one saying that his schedule was closed. I'm curious if they started giving appointments again. Has anyone here used any of the other doctors in the practice? Are they good? I am desperately trying to find a good eye doctor for my son that takes Jersey Care. Does anyone have any recommendations of someone really good?

Same issue with ds!! It’s ridiculous!!
We saw dr Cohen a few times and then they switched the next apt to someone else there. I specifically wanted Cohen but since we saw the other dr, they said we are no longer under dr cohens care and now we always need to see this other dr!!
My son also happens to also be seeing a specialist for his eyes so we ended up doing his exam there (I had to pay out of pocket)
I would love yo get an apt with dr cohen. But they totally refuse.
I happen to know that my nephew saw dr cohen 2 weeks ago and they let them make a follow up apt with him in 6 months. So they are deff letting some people see him
I need a good eye doctor that takes Jersey care

Ok so I'm basically giving up on Dr Cohen. I can't deal with such kind of places. Does any one have any recommendations for a good eye doctor that takes jersey care. I'm willing to travel out of Lakewood.

The doctors are very good! The trouble with Dr Cohen is he's very much in demand. He hired extra doctors because he fills up quickly but people aren't willing to try out the doctors and he's overbooked. I used doctor Cohen and the others at his office. One of the doctors told me something about my son. I didn't think it made sense but both doctors gave me the same answer. Besides being a very good doctor the pro of using doctor cohen Himself is he's jewish,he's fast. My experience with the other doctors however were also good. My kids all liked them. Their prescription were all accurate. My daughter related very well to the woman. They all seemed very nice. Dr Cohen is there. I was able to talk to him while I was their seeing another doctor. The place is run well. Very kid friendly

I also used dr Patel and she seems very competent. She told me to make a follow up appointment for my son 3 months after his new prescription to make sure it was going well.
