If you have more chairs than people? Or just leave empty chairs at the table during the Seuda?

Leave empty chairs at the table. We use one side all together.

We have extra dining chairs. I keep them on the side of the room and only add them to the table when we have guests and need the extra chairs. I prefer having more space without having empty chairs squashing me.

We are a family of 6. We have 8 dining chairs.
The baby/toddler is still in a highchair.
We put 2 chairs in the garage as we currently only need 5 and it makes the room feel more crowded.

Depends how many extra chairs there are. If it’s a small meal, we will leave the chairs but put them closer together so the others can spread out a bit. If we are a bigger crowd with only a few extra chairs, we will remove the extras.

We keep one on either side of the buffet so there’s plenty of room at the table when it’s just family. We pull them over when we need them.
