Yes in public education there's a payscale. My first master's bumped my pay by 15k and my second allowed me to qualify for a job that was 100% pay raise.

Yes teaching headstart and received about 5k when I got my internship certification which is in middle of the degree, 5k when I graduated and then another 5k when I revived my professional certification. Then certain things changed with funding and everyone who was professionally certified was bumped up to about 68k a year
