Anyone know if I can go on unemployment if I couldn’t get any summer cases but wanted to work?

Last I heard, no.
It’s really a 10 month job as most kids do not get services over the summer. Seasonal workers do not get unemployment.
Check with unemployment office to confirm if that is still the case.

I was under the impression in the past that you can if you planned to work. there are kids with services (I used to work every summer doing seit!), but the agency doesn't currently have work for you. it's different than a teacher who is hired for 10 months.

Ya I never did it before because I always had cases through the summer this is the first year I have nothing at all was trying to get so y shldnt it be good for unemployment
