We're a big family that does many loads in a week.
Looking for recommendations for top loader washing machines. Prefer with an agitator. We need something 4.5 cubic or bigger.

I see many options but would like personal recommendations of specific models.

I don't know how big our washer is, but I think it's huge. I don't believe it has an agitator. It is really big and I need a step stool to reach the bottom (but I am on the shorter side). It came with our house which we bought 8 years ago--so I don't know if the model still exists, but it's an LG if that helps .

It is since discontinued, but I'd definitely get another LG top loader.

If I was buying a top loader with an agitator today (I got a front loader, not sure it was an upgrade) I'd get this one:

I don't have a large house but I have 2 washing machines and 1 dryer. It's very helpful to have to washing machines. especially if you have a large family.

If space would allow it, I would get another one but right now my washer and dryer are in a closet. It's not a very narrow space but definitely no place for three machines.
