Hi,
We're making Bar Mitzvah iyh in a few days. we booked a photographer. he has a package if we do video as well (additional $2k) Do ppl book video for a Bar Mitzvah?

Some do and some do not. We did not.
If this is your oldest, be aware that by the time your son is 15 he will not care less about his bar mitzvah. So the video that you are paying is for your own memories. He will have no patience and interest by the time he gets into his mid to upper teens

I know people who do. Don’t see the need for it personally. We filmed important part s (like speeches and parts of dancing) on our phones and that’s all.
The pictures tell enough of the story. It’s not such a busy long night like a wedding.
