Wow these replies are putting things in perspective... here I was thinking I'm a big spender lol.
Yesterday was a high spending day for me... went to the mall and spend around $90 on 2 pairs of shoes.
Today I bought lunch (which I never do) but had a gift card so ran me about $3.
Probably won't be spending more today.

I once heard that money spent for a yiddish simcha is same idea like shabbos you get back double. Not sure if it's true

I wouldn't count the credit card bill you paid, count the purchases the day you made them! Otherwise it feels like you're spending twice!
