Do you think areas around tverya and Netanya are likely to be safe in the summer? Would love to get away and would much rather be in Israel...

No different to how safe they are now.
Obviously I don't know though Smile

Tverya had 1 siren 1 week into the war.

Just going by what OP said.
She said North is out (I assume due to security), and south too hot.

Tverya is also hot, but I'm just saying, there are other places in Israel, that are fairly quiet security wise.

Hi friends,
We're a family of 5, couple + three teens 19 (DS) and two girls 17, 14 living in EY. BH.
The matzav in Israel this year is challenging for everyone. Throw into this the demands of 3 hardworking good kids who really want a break on bein hazmanim (3 weeks in August basically.)
Ordinarily, we'd book a Tzimmer in the North - but that's out, and the south is way too hot.
In times like these, requests for a vacay are absolutely not a priority, and I get that - but our
Rav has given an okay for Chu'l, and I'm not sure where to start. We need something super reasonable - a family camp if those still exist, some kind of self-catering option would be fine, something close to a hotel for Shabbosim. We're adventurous and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas that are reasonable, and secure. (I know there are still Cyprus travel warnings for Israelis.)
I may be looking for a unicorn.
B'hatzlachah to all of us. Cool

My family have done the french Alps many times for very reasonable prices. We went from London so flights were cheap.
Airbnbs are very well priced.
If you stay in certain areas (e.g. tignes), the accommodation is a bit more expensive but it comes with a free attraction pass and no need to rent a car there.
Many areas have bakeries with kosher bread in the summer.
We often drove to aix le bais straight from the airport to buy meat, chicken and milk (long life).
Fish, fruit veg pasta rice etc bought in local supermarket.
Kashered the kitchen and took along minimal pots.

What is your total budget and how long do you want to go for?

Eta french Alps is much cheaper than swiss, Italian and Austrian.

Tveria is hot and super-humid in summer.

Thanks SO much for all the new info! We've been here in EY nearly 17 years,BH tfu tfu tfu, and the kids feel they've "been there, done that." To be fair, my son has hiked half the Israel trail and we've done Tzimmerim all over for years. Looking into self catered Eurocamping now...flight costs are high tho. I'd really appreciate all good food ideas.
Thanks all.

Ps Tiveria in August is like being in a hair dryer.
